標題: [心得] GSL翻譯先生說的一段話

今天看GSL 2頒獎典禮時，
翻譯先生說了一些話，我覺得說得太棒了，
所以我盡力把那些話打下來，分享給大家。
尤其如果你、你的朋友 或任何人正考慮加入台灣電競界，更推薦你們聽聽這段話。
(有些地方因為VOD 斷斷續續而沒有聽到:( 在這裡徵求較完整的VOD.
小弟中文英文不太好，中文有些地方翻得怪怪的，連我自己都這麼覺得，

First of all, I want to say I have great respect for NesTea,
首先，我想說，我非常地尊敬NesTea，
not just because he won the tournament,
不只是因為他贏了這屆GSL，
but because this guy had the courage to do what he wanted to do
and proved he was right.
更因為他有勇氣去做他想要做的事情，並且證明了他做對了。
I'm saying this because too many people,even in Korea,
consider playing games a waste of time.
我會說這些是因為 有很多的人認為玩電腦遊戲是浪費時間的行為，甚至在韓國也是如此。
I myself was unemployed for two years ...
我之前曾有兩年沒有工作
[這裡是一段話,因為VOD lag 而沒聽到....，
我當初聽原版gomtv英文轉播的時，聽到大概的意思是:
後來翻譯先生找到了GSL翻譯這份工作。
他(翻譯先生)的朋友跟他說，當職業電競選手是浪擲光陰的行為...]
I asked them, "can you honestly say you like your job?"
And I asked them, "do you have a fan, [1;30;40ma group of fans [m just for you?"
我問他們：「你能誠實地說 你喜歡你的工作 嗎？
你有辦法因為你的工作而擁有一批喜歡你/支持你的fans嗎？」
And that shut them up!
這些問題讓他們答不出話了。
So, every time you feel ashamed of being a nerd because your friends,
teachers, neighbors or even parents think gaming is a waste of time,
所以，當你因為對遊戲痴迷而感到慚愧，因為你的朋友、老師、鄰居，甚至是父母，
認為打遊戲是在浪費時間，
you remember: there is no such thing as a waste in life,
as long as you have the courage to do what you like and be passionate about it.
請你記得：只要你有勇氣去做你喜歡的事情，並且熱愛它，那麼這就不是在浪費時間。
You remember: if NesTea listened to all those criticism,
he wouldn't be standing there with the trophy.
你要知道，如果NesTea當初聽了那些責備就放棄，
今天他就無法拿著獎盃站在舞台上。
And you remember: even if you feel nobody around you supports you,
請記得，如果你覺得身邊沒有人支持你，
I, Jay, Artosis, Tasteless, everyone in GOM will support you.
我、Jay(另一位翻譯先生)、Artosis、Tasteless (另兩位英語主播)
還有GOM的所有人會支持你。
Why? Because we believe in this sport.
為什麼？ 因為我們相信這項運動。
